- Gameplay and progress data: puzzle completions, links used, hints used, solve times, streaks, scores, archive unlock status, language preference, and leaderboard entries.
- Purchase data: transaction status needed to verify and restore your one-time archive unlock purchase.
- Technical data: app and API logs (for reliability and abuse prevention), session and authentication tokens, basic device/app version metadata.

- To sync puzzle progress across web and app.
- To show stats, streaks, and leaderboard information.
- To validate purchases and restore premium access.
- To operate, secure, and improve WordLinks.
