Account and Data Deletion
You can request permanent deletion of your WordLinks account and associated personal data at any time.
How to request deletion
- Email support@wordlinks.app from the email linked to your WordLinks account.
- Use subject line: WordLinks Account Deletion Request.
- Include your account email and, if available, your player/profile name.
What gets deleted
- Account profile and authentication linkage.
- Saved progress, stats, streaks, leaderboard profile, and puzzle history.
- Support tickets tied directly to your account identity (except records required by law/security).
What may be retained
- Minimal financial or anti-fraud records when required for legal compliance.
- Aggregated or anonymised analytics that cannot identify you.
Deletion timeline
We complete deletion within 30 days of confirming the request.
Important notes
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- If you only uninstall the app, your account data is not automatically deleted.
- For App Store users, purchase history remains with Apple under Apple's policies.
